The Kenya Alliance of Resident Associations (Kara) is geared up to hold the inaugural Kara Business Expo and Conference that will run from November 25th to 27th 2016 at the Sarit Centre in Nairobi.
The expo, under the theme “Promoting Business Relations with Kenya\\\'s Residents Associations,” will bring together exhibitors from the public and private sectors to showcase their products, services and capacity to serve the market. The event is designed to uniquely blend businesses with residents associations for mutual benefit.
The event will begin with a Conference slated for 25th November 2016 at the Sarit Centre Conference Room. The theme of discussion will be How can Kenya Ensure Attainment of Sustainable Cities and Communities (SDG 11) by 2030? The Conference will be addressed by key leaders from Government, private sectors, development partners and Civil Society Organizations among others.
The event is endorsed by Nairobi City County Government and sponsored by: Safaricom Ltd, Wananchi Online Ltd, Wadi Degla Clubs and KK Security Ltd. The Kenya Alliance of Resident Associations (KARA) is the apex body representing the voice and proactive action of Resident Associations on service delivery issues. Kara is keen on enhancing access to public service delivery through effective information, education and communication as well as forging partnerships with the Government, Private Sector, development partners and the larger civil society.
Preparations to host the KARA Business Expo & Conference on November 25 – 27, 2016 at the Sarit Center, Nairobi are at an advanced stage.
